Great place to go relax or even let your older kids just run around. Nice to watch the ducks and geese when they are around and even all the boats cruising by.
Young lad at the information booth had very little knowledge of the area. Very disappointed! A few nice statues, but again disappointed, info is not bilingual! I have no idea why the statues are there! Very unfortunate!
This is a great park to go to have a picnic. There is a boat launch, tables, washrooms, and place to walk, watch fishermen or just sit under a tree and relax. We have been there by boat and by car and we always return several times a year. No food on site so bring your own, but there is free parking. The washroom are old and remind me of a camping type washrooms made of wood and , but they are clean.
Came here by chance and I dont regret it at all! Love how theres a park on the island and plenty of interesting public art. Theres free parking and a cafe, so its worth visiting. Didnt stay here for too long and I could imagine it being boring if you stay here for hours, but its a nice short visit if you happen to be in the area.
Great park for picnics and outdoors games (catch, Frisbee, soccer, etc.). Lots of benches and picnic tables, a large gazebo for shade (or, God forbid, to get out of the rain). It's large enough for a nice stroll around the park, under the bridge, and on top the boat landing and the sculptures often on display there.
