Owner very knowledgeable and offers no-nonsense, orthotics-friendly service for fitting my troubled feet, just like the store in Pointe-Claire did. It's all about comfort, and time is taken with your well being in mind. Thank goodness Hawkesbury is not so far! Don't forget to bring your orthotics.
I visited the store today and was helped by a very pleasant lady. Because she usually works on the fabric side of the store she asked the owner to help me. Right from the start the owner was rude. She acted as though I was bothering her......after a few minutes my husband suggested we leave and never go back. I believe in shopping locally but with an attitude like hers I will gladly drive an hour to Ottawa or Montreal to avoid that treatment.
Love this store. Joanne is an expert for broken feet, foot injuries, feet infirmities, eveything about feet. She has a great selection of orthopedic shoes, boots, sandals, slippers, etc. They are all very affordable. Not too expensive compared to other stores or foot clinics.
Best advice on footwear I've ever had. If Joanne says to "buy the shoes", BUY THE SHOES! Well worth the drive to get there.
The owner is extremely knowledgable and helpful and instinctively knows what will and will not work for you. The staff are welcoming, respectful, and well trained. The place is a gem and well worth the drive from Montreal.
