Typical Canadian tire experience. I got my oil changed there once and I don't think they actually changed it.
Staff at the auto counter seem unable to work at a reasonable rate, nor are they able to tell people to wait in line. Routinely accepting others before those who are actually lined up. At no point was any one called to help, both employees just wandered around with their heads down. Avoid at all costs.
Understaffed in the service department and the only guy actually there didn't seem to know what he was doing. Line up of 5 people and he served a woman who had just walked in first rather than taking us in order. Waited 10 minutes just to watch him leave for his break. A few minutes later another employee from the sports department took over and actually got people helped in a reasonable time. Part I was looking for wasn't even in stock (despite their inventory saying otherwise) so I wasted all that time waiting just to leave empty handed. Far from impressed. At least the second guy's English was good.
This store has always been the go-to store for almost anything from car care to sporting goods, tools, lighting, etc.... I recently went in for a compressor and Christopher, from sporting goods was very helpful in assisting me. Strange? But a great experience to be considered a valued customer.
